Understanding the Warranty:

The Diamond Kote® 30-Year Limited Warranty is a testament to the exceptional quality and durability of our LP SmartSide® siding. As the Original Purchaser, you’re covered against discoloration, peeling, blistering, and excessive fade for 30 years from the original purchase date. This warranty extends to both the original homeowner and, if applicable, to the first owner of a newly constructed or remodeled dwelling.

Exclusions and Limitations:

While the warranty provides robust coverage, it’s essential to be aware of the exclusions. Non-conforming finishes arising from factors like air pollution, acts of nature, foreign objects, misuse, or improper installation are not covered. Additionally, costs related to original installation, removal, disposal, or reinstallation of the siding are not included.

Your Exclusive Remedies:

In the rare event that your Diamond Kote® finish doesn’t conform to the warranty, we offer exclusive remedies. You may choose from coating materials for recoating, replacement of non-conforming areas, or reimbursement for coating materials. During the first seven years, labor costs for remedying non-conforming finish are also reimbursed.

Labor Reimbursement Schedule:

For years eight through fifteen, we provide reimbursement for labor costs based on the following schedule:

• Year 8: $1.07 per square foot
• Year 9: $0.94 per square foot
• Year 10: $0.82 per square foot
• Year 11: $0.69 per square foot
• Year 12: $0.57 per square foot
• Year 13: $0.44 per square foot
• Year 14: $0.32 per square foot
• Year 15: $0.19 per square foot

After Year 15, labor reimbursement is not provided*
