Russ and his team worked on our hail damaged house. He worked with our insurance adjuster and provided all information to insurance adjuster promptly so the process was very easy and quick. I am also happy with his team’s work as well as his customer service. There was a little concern regarding a few windows’ installation, however, he talked to window installers to correct the issues. I was very happy with his services. His response time is extremely quick, and he is available when needed. He provided great customer service.
Douglas is a genuinely nice person who cares about doing the right thing. He was at our home to provide an estimate and went above and beyond to ensure he understood our needs. He even fixed a couple of miscellaneous issues on his own time. We haven’t made a decision yet but Douglas is high on our list and so far, we highly recommend him.
A month before closing on the sale of my home. A surprise hail storm rolled through and caused major damage to my home. All the work had to be done before closing and Super Siders came to our rescue. Russ Winslow got all the work done in 3 weeks. Roof, siding, gutters, garage door, and all the trim to compete the repairs. His crew did an awesome job and took care of all the hassle dealing with my insurance company to get it repaired right. Almost made me want to not sell it after seeing the repairs. I would not wish to experience another storm but if I do I’ll be calling the Super Siders.
Unfortunately, my experience with SuperSiders was, generally, not great. There were some positives, however, the majority of my experience was negative. I hired them as a contractor for work on my roof and siding from storm damage after finding a positive review on the NextDoor neighborhood social media platform.
-The contract I signed had a guarantee that the work would be completed in 60 days after SuperSiders and my insurance company came to agreement on the scope of work and compensation – work wasn’t completed in 60 days after the agreement, in fact, it was even completed in 120 days….
-My opinion of the general manager, Russ, is that he is very accessible and quick-to-respond (literally within minutes most times), however, I also found him to be rude, short-tempered and intimidating when there were disagreements with myself and/or my insurance company.
-I felt like I was being lied to by SuperSiders with regards to finding a siding match. I had to contact my insurance company on my own accord on multiple occasions to get the facts straight, and then relay that information to SuperSiders. My belief is that they were trying to get away with using cheaper, more readily available siding, instead of siding that actually matched the current siding on my house. The appropriate siding was eventually used but it delayed the project by quite a bit and used up a lot of my valuable time.
-As far as the quality of work that was completed, I can only speak to cosmetic issues (I am not adept to roofing and siding nuances). When I did have issues, however, SuperSiders were responsive and came out to address my concerns. Generally, I found no glaring issues.
-There was an episode early on during the project that sort of put me off, regarding a skylight tube that came crashing through my ceiling on two occasions do due roofing work – the second of which was because they didn’t appropriately re-install it back up the first time. Russ personally came out and tried to, in my opinion, half-ass it with some tape and not actually screw it back into place. The second time the roofers came out to re-install it the right way. The ceiling had to be patched up.
-It appeared to me that SuperSiders was trying get paid for work that wasn’t completed. I had to point out to them some incomplete items from the agreed upon estimate after they had already submitted a final claim invoice to my insurance company which stated that their scope of work was completed. It wasn’t until after I brought it to their attention did they address it. Some of the work, we agreed, didn’t need to be completed, however, they still claimed overhead and profit on those line items, which still doesn’t sit right with me.
-My opinion of their clean-up work is a wash. They came out when we asked, but I am still finding garbage/nails in my landscaping. Perhaps that’s just par for the course, but I do have pets and small children which leaves me with a little uneasiness still.
Extremely satisfied with Super Siders. From the initial quote to the work itself… start to finish. Highly recommend.
